Cooper Rich is a Los Angeles-based composer and music producer with a diverse composition resume including feature documentaries, animated shorts, comedic web series, commercials, and placements in multiple television shows.  He has worked with companies and networks such as NBC, GoogleNetflix, CBSSyFy, History Channel, FOX, Bravo!, Cartoon Network, and MTV, among others. 

 

Cooper has a strong passion for storytelling and using music as a vehicle to enhance a filmmaker's vision.  Recently, Cooper scored the wonderful feature documentary, The Way To Andina, which won the audience choice award for best feature documentary at the Chicago Latino Film Festival.  He has also been integral to the music for the hit Bravo! franchise Below Deck, for which he composed the main title music as well as a large bulk of the additional music for the Below Deck: Mediterranean and Below Deck: Sailing Yacht series.

 

Cooper is currently wrapping up the production of the debut EP from his band, The Mallards.  When he's not working on his music Cooper enjoys playing hockey and spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their two kittens Etta & Eddie.
